Nirupa became Irwin Mitchell’s Group Chief Information Officer in 2023 and is responsible for ensuring the right technology, processes and data are in place to meet our ambitions for the future. She has a passion for delivering technology that enables client growth and customer experience.
Nirupa previously joined Irwin Mitchell as its Chief Transformation Officer and has more than 20 years’ experience of working in CIO functions.
Prior to joining Irwin Mitchell, she spent six years at Santander, running strategic regulatory and business change before rising to Director of Change and Execution. Nirupa also chaired the ‘ethnicity@work’ network for Santander.
Before this, Nirupa rose through the ranks at RBS and EMC, having begun her career at Microsoft upon securing a place in its graduate programme.
Nirupa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in International Development, both from the Queen Mary University of London.
