How we Can Preserve The Rule of Law in The Metaverse

A virtual reality exhibit at last week’s British Legal Technology Forum scared me witless. I put on a headset and was immersed in new surroundings, first in a lift that carried me up many floors before the doors opened and I was perched on the ledge of a building, hundreds of feet above the streets below. A wooden plank extended before me into mid-air and I was asked to walk out. In common with half of the delegates who had a go, I felt unable to step forward. My visceral fear did not feel virtual…
