InfoTrack have made the first announcement for the highly anticipated agenda of the Digital Conveyancing Summit. Across 10 sessions throughout the day the event will explore four key themes of compliance, digital journeys, the importance of collaboration, and the business impact of technology. Expert speakers and panellists will address how digital is affecting and improving these areas.
The three sessions in the digital journeys section of the day will include:
1. Running a Digital-first Law Firm: with insights from three law firms from their journeys to becoming paperless.
2. The Live Confessions of a Cyber Conveyancer: Peter Ambrose, managing director of The Partnership, will bring his popular weekly column in Today’s Conveyancer to life on stage.
3. HMLR’s Digital Journey: three of the Land Registry’s senior specialists, including Andrew Roddy and Eddie Davies, will be sharing insight into their experience to date and plans for further digitisation.
Hosted by InfoTrack, the free event is being live streamed on Wednesday 28th September from The Law Society offices in Chancery Lane. Delegates can expect an in-depth, insightful event designed to provide a day of educational content on the biggest topics facing the industry in 2022 and beyond.
HM Land Registry commented, “We’re dedicated to working with everyone in the conveyancing sector to support the development of a more digital conveyancing process. We are delighted to be involved with this event, to be sharing our plans for the continued digitisation of our services and connecting with law firms who are ready to embrace this next stage for the industry.”
“At Charles Coleman we’ve seen first-hand the benefits of transitioning to digital conveyancing practices and the impact it has on our staff, our business, and our clients. I’m looking forward to sharing that journey alongside other firms to help and inspire others who are on the same path,” adds Nathan Kapoor, managing partner at Charles Coleman LLP.
Peter Ambrose, managing director at The Partnership, says “We’re delighted to be part of this initiative. Those law firms that are embracing technology are starting to pull away from the rest of the pack, offering improved service enabling them to charge higher fees and so reduce individual caseloads. This Summit plays a leading role in raising awareness of the difference that technology brings – every law firm owner should put the date in their diary.”
